  • Job Role: Sales Executive- Automotive Spare Parts Reporting Line: Auto Parts Sales & Distribution Manager
    Job Location: Yaba, Lagos
    Job Type: Full-time. On-site
    COMPANY OVERVIEW Mecho Autotech is a tech-enabled automobile technicians’ aggregator, designed to provide end to end automobile maintenance services to business and individuals. Using technology, we seek to provide seamless maintenance and repair solutions for vehicle owners across Africa.
    JOB SUMMARY The sales engineer- Auto Spare parts will be responsible for promoting all Mecho spare parts products to prospective distributors, resellers/retailers as well as giving technical support and advice where necessary.
    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES A typical day on the job will involve;
• Work closely with the auto part sales manager in creating a distribution network for  Mecho spare parts
• Establishing new and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers
• Creating, managing, and interpreting customer requirements - listening to distributors and  using smart questioning to understand, anticipate and exceed their needs.
• Acquire and secure new distributors & resellers for auto spares within Lagos and environs
• Liaise with Mecho 3rd party partners in placing a spare part sales stand and supervising sales
• Restock all 3rd party stand weekly
• Assist manager in dispatching auto spares to distributors outside Lagos
• Searching for new customers who could benefit from the company products and maximizing
customer potential in designated regions.
• Persuading customers that a product or service will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
• Negotiating tender and contract terms, to meet both client and the company’s needs

• Bachelor’s degree in eengineering
• Preferably 2 - 3 years of experience in selling Automotive Spare Parts.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Great story-telling abilities
• Detail-oriented, analytical and data-driven
• Be a self-starter, you can run with minimal guidance, taking true ownership of your projects
