Account/Admin Assistant at ERECRUITER NIGERIA

Our client is a top Pharmaceutical organisation that has been in the business of manufacturing quality and affordable healthcare products across Sub-Saharan Africa. They currently have a vacancy for the position of an Account/Admin Assistant – Lagos

Our Account/Administrative assistant position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. If you are passionate about HR policies and procedures and want to help create a nourishing workplace, this position is for you.

Ultimately, you will gain HR experience in a fast-paced work environment by supporting and improving all HR functions.


Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data

• Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits

• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues

• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients

• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

• Assists with checks on returns from the factory in respect of casual wages prior to presentation to HR/Admin Manager for approval

• Prepares periodic/monthly reports on casual staffing levels.

• Assist with employee medical and welfare issues.

• Assist with keeping accurate and up to date data on staff.

• Assist with duties in the reception area in the absence of the receptionist

• Materials handled:   Paper, files, correspondence, confidential documents

• Work environment: Office environment

• Discretion: Exercises some discretion on minor issues within domain of work.


Key Requirement

• Must have a 2years of relevant work experience

• BSc degree in Accounting or Business Administration

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software

• Proficiency in English and in MS Office

• Hand on experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS

• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
