Sales Manager at Confidential

Our client is a leading urban development company in Abuja.

 

Retain responsibility for achieving Project sales targets:

 

  • Drive sales of serviced land plots and top structures for residential and commercial use
  • Establish sales strategies and objectives towards achieving annual sales quotas and
  • Projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products.
  • Design and implement sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintain sales volumes, product mix, and selling price data by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Provide input into the process of establishing and adjusting sales prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Oversee the sales team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Hands-on, day-to-day management of the sales team.
  • Liaise with management in setting targets, delegating work, motivating and coaching the sales team.
  • Generate leads for different products/land uses.
  • Manage and execute sales transactions.
  • Design and execute innovative sales drives and shaping products to appeal to the market and perform ahead of competition.
  • Regularly analyze competitor offerings and trends.
  • Provide effective and timely reporting on progress and make actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to the team by carrying out other tasks as needed
  • Liaising with the senior management team, and with reporting requirements to the Deputy CEO and COO, required on various tasks
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Country Head, Nigeria.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent sales and marketing track record.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Transaction execution experience.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of the Abuja land and property market.

Soft skills and Personal characteristics:

  • High energy.
  • Result-oriented.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
