Vacancy For Deputy Registrar ( Operations) at Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Adminstrators of Nigeria

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), was originally founded in England in October 1891 and was known as the Institute of Secretaries. In 1902 it was granted its Royal Charter and became the Chartered Institute of Secretaries. The name has since been changed to the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators to more fully describe the status and capabilities of the members. 

The Deputy Registrar will report directly to the Registrar/CEO

Qualification:

  • Must have a University degree in any of the social sciences and Hummanities or Law
  • Must have at least 7 years relevant working experience with the last 2 being in a management position
  • Should be between 35-45 years of age
  • Membership of the institute will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the articulation of public relations policies and programs of the institute
  • Liaising with the various stakeholders of the institute to ensure that its relationship produce favorable outcomes
  • Responsible for the marketing and corporate Affairs activities of the Institute
  • Responsible for dealing with both the print & electronic media, for any form of news through the use of News Releases, Press Confernece, seminars and other relevant media management strategies
  • Soliciting for sponsorships for the institute's programmes from members and corporate organizations
  • Soliciting for adverts for the instittutes's programmes
  • Responsible for the Institute's chapter development activities
  • Responsible for organising and making preparations for the institute's visits to various organisations and insititutions as they affect its membership
  • Ensuring that the membership department recovers all debts on Institute's programme and activities
  • Assisting the Registrars in ensuring that council decisions and directives are meticulously implemented
  • Secretary to committees of the institute as may be assigned by the council
  • Ensuring a properly maintianed register of members and its periodic review and publication
  • Co-ordinating and controlling the functions and workings of the Membership, Marketing & Corporate Affairs of the Institute
  • Responsible fo the organization of AGM's, Conference, Seminars and the preparation/circulation of papers relating thereto
  • Responbible for the smooth running/holding of MCPE and Membership Inductions
  • Responsible for the performance of any other duties as may be assigned by the Registar
